In this presentation Stephanie Swinnea shares her journey from initial inspiration, through her research, writing, and publishing of the novel, "I, Patrick, a Sinner..." A Tale Worth Telling. "There were questions regarding Patrick's Confession and the historical events that he recorded, which were left unanswered by every commentary I researched," Stephanie related. "My determination to find historical and cultural answers to those questions has born fruit. After more than four years of research, I feel confident that my construction of Patrick's life and my re-creation of Ireland's Dark Ages is both plausible and as historically accurate as is possible." Stephanie will also perform a few charming songs and stories from Irish lore, which shed light on her journey. At the close of her presentation Stephanie will entertain questions.
