With a solid background in traditional as well as "avant" schools of music, SPOT is a multi-instrumentalist and solo performer/composer whose trash- & noise-rock studio production work earned him inclusion in the Billboard Encyclopedia of Record Producers. BUT NOT TO WORRY! His musical ability has allowed him to play both traditional Celtic and Folk festivals as well as share concert bills with Houston's Clandestine and Breton duo Jean-Michel Veillon and Yvon Riou. At the other extreme, he has opened for artists such as Sonic Youth, Mike Watt, Bob Mould, Guitar Wolf and last year earned the distinction of being the only acoustic performer asked to play at "Sleazefest!", a garage-band debauchery in Chapel Hill, NC.
